Volgaburmash has mastered the manufacturing of diamond bits with a steel body, equipped with polycystalline diamond compacts (PDC), for drilling of vertical, directional, horizontal oil and gas wells in low abrasive formations with water or drillin mud circulation.

PDC bits are highly wear-resistant and efficient.  They provide multiple increase of footage pel'run while improving the penetration rate.  Compared to the rollwe bit the PDC bit life is longer due to the absence of moving and rotating parts.  This makes the performance of PDC bit more effective assuring less failures.

In order to equip the bits with high quality diamond cutters, Volgaburmash cooperates with leading American PDC cutter manufacturers.

Highly qualified specialists design P00 bits using state-of-the-art software programs.  Whirl-Resistant Design Theory allows to increase the PDC bit life and to extend the range of their application.

To avoid cre damage by drilling mud, jet holes lead from the core receiving area.  The bit is designed for coring in soft to medium low abrasive formations.
