Company Information
Volgaburmash is one of the world's largest producers of rotary drill bits.  Its major production facility is located in Samara, Russia with a second manufacturing plant in Ukraine and another one located in Sarapul, Russia.  Volgaburmash was established in 1948 and during the ensuing years produced millions of drill bits used in the markets it served in the former Soviet Union.

The company's product and production capabiliries were enhanced in the early 1980s with the purchase of technology and state-of-art manufacturing facility from Dresser Security, USA.  A decade later, our capabilities were increased again with the adoption of the open-market system in Russia.

Today, we are able to compete in the global marketplace with leading companies in this industry.  We have ongoing development programs to continually improve our design and production capacity.

In the past thirteen years, the company has successfully extended its internation marketing efforts in ASia, North and South America, Middle East, Africa and Australia.  Competition in these areas is with the historical leaders in drill bit manufacturing.  With the introduction of this new Drill Bit Catalog, we provide our customerswith a comprehensive product listing and an indication of the technology we use in our product design.
